Created in USA from Araucanas and are not considered a hybrid and not to be confused with their anscestor Araucanas with rump tails and tufts, or with Americanas a.k.a. Easter or Olive Eggers. They commonly have beards and muffs, but usually lack the rump tail or tufts and will lay blue eggs.
These birds live from 7-8 years. This breed type is more difficult to sex.
