LAVENDER “Self Blue” AMERAUCANA
Ameraucanas are Pure Bred, and not to be confused with their anscestor Araucanas with tufts and rump tails, or with Americanas a.k.a. Easter or Olive Eggers. These chicks will breed true if bred with same color breed type. The Lavender is lighter than the blue color and A.P.A. does accept this color but calls it Self Blue. This breed type is more difficult to sex.
