BARRED LAVENDER LEGBAR
Developed in Britain by crossing Barred Plymouth Rocks with Leghorns and then later with Araucanas to achieve blue eggs with a crest on females. The barred gene gives them AUTOSEXING ABILITY to tell males from females at hatching based on colors. Males are barred with Golden highlights and females are gray with silver or yellowish barred on necks.
