RHODE ISLAND WHITE
Named after Rhode Island and is the State’s Official Bird. The white version was developed in 1888 by crossing a White Wyandotte with a Partridge Cochin and Rose comb Leghorn. This particular hatch is not approved by A.P.A. or 4H standards as they have a single comb vs a rose comb and are for production purpose. Reddish eyes, broad breasted and excellent egg layers in winter as well.
