BLUE CUCKOO MARAN

Named after the town Marans, France where they originated. Calm friendly chickens that can be easily trained. Marans tend to lay eggs in colors of brown, dark brown, chocolate, and some with speckles. They can have feathered or clean legs and feet. They all love to forage.

PLEASE NOTE:  The cuckoo patterns do not come in until about 20 weeks of age. They do well in confined spacing. They are usually feathered legged, but some breeders produce clean legged also. These chicks will be many shades of blues, and the blue feather shading colors may not breed true in their offspring.
