WHEATEN MARAN
Named after the town Marans, France where they originated. Calm friendly chickens that can be easily trained. Marans tend to lay eggs in colors of brown, dark brown, chocolate, and some with speckles. They can have feathered or clean legs and feet. They all love to forage.
PLEASE NOTE: Marans do not have the Auto-Sex ability, however, in the Wheaten color within a few weeks of age, they tend to be lighter in color in the females than the males wheaton color shade which will be darker.
