LAVENDER MARAN
Named after the town Marans, France where they originated. Calm friendly chickens that can be easily trained. Marans tend to lay eggs in colors of brown, dark brown, chocolate, and some with speckles. They can have feathered or clean legs and feet. They all love to forage.
Egg Colors range from Caramel to Chocolate and some Speckled. Lavender is derived from breeding true blue feather color gene parents and usually breed true.
