BLACK COPPER MARAN

Named after the town Marans, France where they originated. Calm friendly chickens that can be easily trained. Marans tend to lay eggs in colors of brown, dark brown, chocolate, and some with speckles. They can have feathered or clean legs and feet. They all love to forage.

They lay the darkest brown eggs of all the Maran Breed varieties.

PLEASE NOTE:   They are usually feathered legged, but some breeders produce clean legged also.
